Kongoni Logo Final

Kongoni Logo Final by hannesc
A logo concept for a project I am involved in. Kongoni means wildebeest in one of our local languages... I think. :P

As this is going to be used for the project, I ask that you please do not copy and reuse. Thanks

*edit* The logo has been approved by the guys involved in the project. What is Kongoni? Here an little bit from the website (still yet to be skinned by me ^_^)

Kongoni is the Shona word for a Gnu (also known as a Wildebeest) the animal which inspired the name of the GNU operating system. The name represents the spirit and history of Kongoni, a GNU/Linux operating system of African origin.
Kongoni is a desktop oriented operating system with a strong belief in being truly free software. This means that Kongoni will neither include nor ship any software not under a license approved by the free software foundation.

I am both proud and honored to be part of this project.

This looks excellent - congrats on getting it approved. I like the way the two halves are slightly offset from one another, I think it makes the whole thing look a bit more edgy and modern.
